A Transducer is a device that transforms one type of energy into another. A submersible transducer is one that produces ultrasonic cleaning energy while immersed in a tank.
Offering the ultimate in ultrasonic cleaning and constructed of a highly specialised stainless steel alloy, these submersible transducer units are extremely resistant to corrosion, pitting and cavity erosion. These “workhorse” units are intended to withstand the abuse unavoidable in a heavy, industrial environment and their adaptability in terms of their flexible configuration means they can be designed and ‘retro fitted’ to suit a wide variety of existing or new cleaning tank systems.
A West Yorkshire company, recognised as a “world leader” in airfoil components for the aerospace and power generation markets, retro fitted a complete system including submersibles, generators and stand alone control panel to an existing tank system. This gave a substantial cost saving whilst providing a virtually new cleaning process system.
To function efficiently these modular Immersible Ultrasonic Transducers are designed as free standing units that do not require attachment to the tank – other than mounting schemes to hold them in position. As a result the transducers can be positioned as required , moved from tank to tank for when needed and are readily handy for ease of servicing or maintenance without draining the tank.
